Merge patch into 12.1

Hi
I posted a bug at:

After some discussion, the developer informed that the change will be
merged into FreeBSD. However, even after the developer meged the change,
and I noticed it in 'pkg upgrade', still after each upgrade the wifi card
stops working. Kindly check my comments at post 18 and 19, here:

I was suspecting that the developer missed my message, so I created a
thread at (forums.freebsd.org), there SirDice asked me to send an emal at
wireless-mailing list, so someone can merge this change in releng/12.1.

Therefore, kindly mege the patch in releng/12.1, so it can appear in
12.1-release.
