Try:

virtual_oss -C 2 -c 2 -r 48000 -b 16 -s 1024 -P
/dev/bluetooth/78:44:05:9b:51:aa -R /dev/null -d dsp -T /dev/sndstat -t
vdsp.ctl

If your device doesn't support SBC recording it won't work with -f.
