 Talked to the submitter offline and it seems that his virtualbox was
 causing these issues.
 After removing following entries from rc.conf, the issue disappears.
 vboxdrv_enable=YES
 vboxnet_enable=YES
 
 We should close this bug.
 
 Chiang: If you wish, you can open a bug for virtualbox port with all
 relevant details.
