well, i bet lots of other locking shenanigans exist..by default..

its like whomever wrote this, never imagined that more than a single vap per interface was going to be running..

that's for sure going to affect throughput..

Whacked. I'll go off and test a little more when I next get a chance.
I'm still knee deep in isolating some other race conditions (this time
my doing) to get full-throughput UDP RX totally solid.
