I just updated the BIOS on my system. That version was only one version older
than the new one. Anyway, this is the output from 'dmidecode'.

Does anyone have any idea if this will correct the problem? I would really hate
to trash the whole system again if this doesn't correct the problem. Also, why
would this problem NOT exist on a FreeBSD 11.x (and perhaps older) system? It
only started with 12.x. I find it somewhat difficult to believe it is solely a
BIOS version problem.
