--- Comment #161 from Eirik Oeverby <ltning-freebsd at anduin.net> ---
Thinkpad X1 Carbon gen6, current as of a couple days ago:

uhub_reattach_port: giving up port 1 reset - device vanished: change 0xfb
status 0x7fb
uhub_reattach_port: giving up port 2 reset - device vanished: change 0xfb
status 0x7fb
uhub_reattach_port: giving up port 3 reset - device vanished: change 0xfb
status 0x7fb
uhub_reattach_port: giving up port 4 reset - device vanished: change 0xfb
status 0x7fb

Repeating forever. And right now I need to reboot since usbconfig just hangs
(when run as root). It does show my Yubikey if I run usbconfig as my own user
(limited USB privileges), but pcscd does not start up (hangs).

This most commonly happens when I plug in/remove something via USB-C. I am not
aware of it happening in any other situations.

I agree with everyone who says this is ... for the lack of a better term,
annoying.
