Get the USB descriptor string from uhid device

Hi,

currently I am writing an (linux compatible) UBS Joystick driver based on
the libusbhid and the cuse4bsd framework.
For the user I would like to get the sting from the usb device (that string
which is also printed in the dmesg output)
Do you have an idea how I can obtain this string with the libusbhid functions?
