Hi,
If you add the kernel debugging options to your GENERIC file, then you will
get a backtrace next time it crashes.
There is also a script under:
/usr/src/tools/regression/usb/
Which you can use to forcedly re-enumerate your USB card-reader. Try that when
a card is inserted with NTFS and see what happens.
