It's impossible cause of this Makefile part:
.if (defined(WITHOUT_USB) || ${OSVERSION} > 800000)
CONFIGURE_ARGS+= --disable-libusb
.else

LIB_DEPENDS+= usb-0.1.8:${PORTSDIR}/devel/libusb
.endif
.endif
So SANE is built w/o libusb support even if you check the option. I
tried to comment this part but the build failed on sanei_usb.c etc.
I think someone with USB foo should have a look to the port.
