Andrew Bresticker did a bunch more work last semester.  The
pmap module is in vastly better shape (I think it's as done
as it can be until it can be exercised with actual load).
When the clock ran out Andrew was trying to debug some odd
problem with the root file system image which was standing
in the way of launching an init.
