Headless with newcons

Hello,

I've been experiencing problems running my home server ( intel nuc )running
kern.version: FreeBSD 10.0-STABLE #0 r265687
and
hw.model: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4250U CPU @ 1.30GHz

The problem seems to be that when running with VT kern config, the machine
wont boot without attached monitor.

Works perfectly with GENERIC config as well as VT with attached monitor.
