Sendmail/sasl2 LDADD. LDFLAGS FreeBSD 10-STABLE

It appears make.conf and src.conf settings are not being passed through to the build of sendmail and related utilities.

Could someone look into this further ? I have no further time that I can spend with it.

Specifically I had to add -L/usr/local/lib manually to the Makefile LDADDFLAGS because -lsasl2 could not be found. Or is there another way that we are doing this with base OpenSSL ?
