If you presently installed FreeBSD 7.0-RELEASE, you can use the new
binary update approach -- freebsd-update to patch it, which contains
only security/stability fixes. Another way is to upgrade to RELENG_7_0,
which will give you 7.0-RELEASE-p3 at this moment, it's the same as
binary upgrade approach but useful if you did some customization in
compiling.
