Any problems you have with GNATS not responding, please email them to
bugmaster at FreeBSD.org and we'll try to figure out what's going on.

I think we just extended the 5.4 support time to match 5.3.  5.4 is so
superior to 5.3 that we'd really rather people be on it.  OTOH we've
already committed to support 5.3 for N more months and there it is.
