nvidia-driver related (?) panic on 5.5-RELEASE

I'm not really sure anymore whether the nvidia driver has any part in this - I 
cannot rule it out however, since the nv driver doesn't recognize my graphics 
card and wine refuses to work with the vesa driver. The panics do go away 
with SMP disabled.
