As many other have told you - world is not perfect, but in this
unperfect world I had very little problems with FreeBSD, than with other
OSes. I definitely had problems with FreeBSD (which I use since 3.x, and
actively use since 4.5), but I never even thinked to blame FreeBSD
developers for "not supporting" me.
And FreeBSD is not only OS which is in constant development, there are
other too: various distributions of Linux, Solaris, Microsoft Windows,
all "live" OSes. If you wish to have STABLE OS, then just choose static
configuration which works for you, dont upgrade OS, 3rd party
applications, your applications, dont install security fixes etc, and
to be safe disconnect your server from any networks, and leave it in
dark room :-).
Please tell me name of any OS which works on all current and future
hardware without any problems and without rewriting drivers.
