Actually this is such a common problem, I wonder if we can somehow pool 
resources and publish this information.  It would be advantageous to 
have a web page somewhere that presented the collected testing of 
people testing a new release, through the RC and release process, along 
with some idea of what they've compiled/installed/run on it.  

Unfortunately, I have no idea of how to accomplish this lofty goal, so 
I'll just toss it in here and let all the great minds here grind away 
on it.
