not mount root after add `amrp` device

hello, all

# uname -a
FreeBSD damascus 8.0-RELEASE-p2 FreeBSD 8.0-RELEASE-p2 #0: Mon Jan 11 
12:40:28 CET 2010     root at damascus:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/DAMASCUS  i386

have `LSILogic Intel(R) RAID Controller SRCU42X`
need passthrough interface to `amr` device for connect to HDDs with 
smartmontools
after load modules cam.ko, amr_cam and enter command `camcontrol rescan 
all`, all works

but after added `amrp` device to kernel, compile/install and reboot with 
new kernel, system is can not mount root point

please, any solutions ?
