Disk problem

Hello I have motherboard ASUS with integrated SCSI Adaptec AIC7901
Ultra320 SCSI adapter. When I try boot FreeBSD 5.4 boot fail during disk
detection - reseting device, timeouts and other errors and detection
repeat again. When I boot in Safe mode it work.

Does somebody have an idea what to do?

Used driver - ahd, standard configuration, one SEAGATE ST336607LW 0007 disk.
