Hi,

I'm running FreeBSD 4.11 on x86 (a Dell PE1750) and having some fun
with my mpt device. Under read load, the bus will spit out many error
messages, sometimes recover, sometimes lock up the system, requiring a
power cycle. Kernel log messages look like so:

May  9 00:54:35 ftp /kernel: mpt1: time out on request index = 0xb9
sequence = 0x00d11d59
May  9 00:54:39 ftp /kernel: mpt1: Status 00000001; Mask 00000001;
