U320 AIC7902 Seagate ST318453LW issues, SCB timed out

Don Bowman asked the following question some time ago (Tue Aug 12 
20:58:19 PDT 2003). Any idea about what's going wrong ? The strange 
thing is that the disk seems ok whatever the message says ...
