I am sure the issue is not addressed in latest RELENG_5.  I will do more
experiments when I'm at office.  (Can't do such experiments remotely as
the system refuse to boot into single user mode :-(  Is there any way
to disable mpt1's initialize from loader?  If so I'll be able to debug
the kernel at home 8-)
