The above error occurs when I try to init the disk when it's plugged into
a single SCA80 -> 68pin drive adaptor, this particular drive adaptor has
no part number that I can find, but does have 3 IC's on it, no other
singel dive adaptor i have ever seen has had these chips. This same drive
works fine when plugged into the 5 disk backplane, or plugged in to a
different make/model of adaptor (one with no chips) I have 7 of these
adaptors and all of them exhibit this same problem with any SCA drive I
plug into them. I have test these adaptors under both -CURRENT and
-STABLE on adaptec 2940 U2W's. This setup does cause panics under -STABLE
at boot, I haven't tested under -CURRENT. I don't happen to have the output
of a panic handy if someone needs this let me know and I'll track one
down. If any further information is needed please let me know and I'll be
happy to provide what ever I can.
