Does this document (also) describe FreeBSD SCSI?

Hi,

This document:

claims to describe the SCSI subsystem in ``Digital UNIX'' but it looks a lot
like
FreeBSD.  Does anyone know if there is a genetic relationship, or how reliable
a
guide it is?
