aic79xx driver problem

one pointmaxtordo make a point saying is that their drives are scsi3 compliant and don't work with scsi2 commands well..

but they finaly gave a firmware update for the drive... just no explanation how too use it..also havn't tested yet as no information
plus a browse around the ftp site pointed to them giving me the incorrect path as my drives are atlas 10k iv (ftp://ftpdownload.maxtor.com/pub/Atlas%2010K%20IV/ and not the atlas-iv.
