RAID status on PowerEdge 2600 with Perc 4/DI

I think I heard "Moore, Eric Dean" say:

>If not, use MAKEDEV.

Yup - that was it.. I thought that since I had the amrd devices
that I didn't need anything else...  

So, I created the amr0 device, started it up:

And my machine hung - I had to call someone to go and press it's reset
button.
