The messages point to an interrupt routing problem.  The strange thing
is that it appears that interrupts are working well enough for CAM to
probe the SCSI bus, but then later they start failing.  Very strange.  I
also have no idea how a SCSI BIOS update will fix this.  I have no
experience with VIA-based motherboards from SuperMicro, but I hate to
say that I wouldn't trust one.
With 5.0, have you tried with both ACPI enabled and disabled?  Often
times system BIOS makers break one method or the other, but not both.
Do you have any PCI cards plugged in?  What happens if you run just a
UP kernel?
