What is the "better / best " method to multi-boot different OSes natively WITHOUT VirtualBox(es) ?

Again, depends. :-)

As the hard disk manufacturers meanwhile have bought each other,
there is little actual choice, despite many different brand names.
With WD, I've always had great results (live long, work good).
In the past, I also used Seagate and Toshiba. The last one, who
bought Hitachi, who bought IBM, was the one with the less
impressive results, especially for 2.5" laptop disks. Of course,
this is not a problem anymore, as I prefer to use SSDs there.
Hard disks still have their place in _mass_ storage systems.
Probably WD and Seagate are good to use.
