Xorg broken after upgrade to 12.2

Hi

After an upgrade to 12.2, I can no longer launch the X server.
In Xorg.0.log there is this line, which I think is the relevant
error message:

  (EE) open /dev/dri/card0: No such file or directory
	
I believe I have performed the upgrade as I should:

  - sudo freebsd-update -r 12.2-RELEASE upgrade
	
	- reboot with new kernel
  
	- sudo freebsd-update install
	
	- sudo pkg-static upgrade -f 
	(1320 packages er reinstalled)
  
	and a final
	- sudo freebsd-update install

There are no changes in my configuration, I still have

   kld_list="/boot/modules/i915kns.ko"
	 
in rc.conf	 

Did I forget something?
