I just read Alex S <iwtcex at gmail.com> comment on the patch
<https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=242177>.
I am willing to give it a try once everyone agrees that the patch is
sound. I am running FreeBSD 11.3-RELEASE-p6 64bit, mainly because the
12.x version of FBSD will not run on this machine.
