previous employer was another. Neither are small companies.

	But they do, in both cases by employing committers and other
developers, contributing fixes to the core FreeBSD code, sending people to
conferences to talk and of course financial contributions of one sort or
another. All of these activities are of direct benefit to any company that
depends on the FreeBSD codebase.
