Interesting statement, Polytropon. I have been using FreeBSD since
version 5 and MS Windows long before that (stated with DOS). In both
cases, I have found both architectures perfectly capable of extreme
debauchery.
Are you familiar with bug # 237666
<https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=237666>. I have
known versions of Microsoft that would not install on older PC's that
lacked the capabilities that it required; but never to refuse to install
on a newer machine. On a perfectly operating 11.x machine, I could not,
and apparently not just me either, install an 12.x version of FreeBSD.
Problems exist everywhere. It takes personal prejudices to highlight
them. Oh, for the record, your are complaining.
