If it's only about SSL support, add the "ssl" keyword to your
configuration line(s) in ~/.fetchmailrc or the global equivalent.

Example:

	poll pop.example.com proto POP3 user BOB pass HUNTER2 fetchall flush ssl

If it's about actually replacing fetchmail: check getmail. :-)
