iTunes would be a Cocoa app - and as devel/gnustep strives to be code
compatible with Apple's Cocoa framework it would make a lot of the
porting work already done.

I also believe that it would be less work than you think, as when Apple
brought NeXT, the nextstep code that became Cocoa, already supported
Windows and Solaris on a variety of hardware like m68K, x86, Sparc and
HP Risc. So the areas that need porting will already be clearly
identified and could be closer to working than you'd expect.
