Thank you! This is _exactly_ what I've been searching for, and
it's even part of the operating system! I've tried it locally
with two classic xterms - exactly what I need. It even duplicates
"rich apps" (text mode programs) like the Midnight Commander
or automatically updating output like "htop" properly.
