Have you swept the /24 on the off chance that the manual is fibbing 
about 192.168.0.50 but not about it being some address in 
192.168.0.0/24?  If that fails, try 192.168.1.0/24.  Other addresses 
D-Link seems to favor as the default:

192.168.0.1
192.168.0.30
192.168.1.1
