freebsd-update and a custom kernel

I was under the impression that freebsd-update did not touch locally
modified files regardless of the freebsd-update.conf settings. All
right, I was wrong.

I generally don't need this. I build all custom kernels on a build box
and then rsync them away.

Oh, I am a user since 1.1.5.1 (about 1995) and an admin since
2.0.something :-)
