Cross Compile From i386 to amd64

So I wonder is there any idea that I can compile the i386 kernel on amd64 machine?

Hi All,
  I have a slow i386 machine installed FreeBSD8.2 and a faster amd64 machine installed FreeBSD9.2. And I want to and the vesa support in the i386 machine,but  much time is spent on compiling the kernel . So I wonder is there
