if you are referring to the 20140922 entry, I implemented all of those
changes many weeks ago (wrongly, perhaps, but best as I understood
them), still have this problem w/ most pkg updates/installs .... What do
you think I missed ?

[root at kabini1, /etc, 10:49:08am] 323 % cat /etc/make.conf
WITH_PKGNG=yes
OVERRIDE_LINUX_BASE_PORT=c6
OVERRIDE_LINUX_NONBASE_PORTS=c6
CPUTYPE=native
WITH_NEW_XORG=yes
MAKE_JOBS_NUMBER=4
FORCE_PKG_REGISTER=yes
You have new mail.
[root at kabini1, /etc, 5:17:59pm] 324 % cat /etc/sysctl.conf
# $FreeBSD: releng/9.3/etc/sysctl.conf 112200 2003-03-13 18:43:50Z mux $
#
# This file is read when going to multi-user and its contents piped thru
# ``sysctl'' to adjust kernel values. ``man 5 sysctl.conf'' for details.
#

# Uncomment this to prevent users from seeing information about
processes that
# are being run under another UID.
#security.bsd.see_other_uids=0

compat.linux.osrelease=2.6.18
net.inet.tcp.log_in_vain=0 # logs stuff about stray TCP inputs from
other machines ....

[root at kabini1, /etc, 5:18:41pm] 325 % ll /etc/make.conf /etc/sysctl.conf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 150 Dec 4 09:34 /etc/make.conf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 492 Oct 12 13:29 /etc/sysctl.conf
[root at kabini1, /etc, 5:18:53pm] 326 %

I think this may trace to nspluginwrapper depending on linux-f10 in
pkg's, but that may not be correct .... in any event, if you need more
info to diagnose, please don't hesitate .... TIA & thx ....
