Why FreeBSD doesn't have a Gnome3 port?

think to ask on x11 at freebsd.org ?

The xorg team is busy being as careful as possible in getting the new
xorg / dri2 support enabled by default.

Once that happens, please test it out. Thoroughly.

Once that's all tested out, I think the plan is to import updated
versions of things that are required in order to bring over the gtk
updates and gnome3.
