Seems I cannot use GDB on this due to :

This GDB was configured as 
"i386-marcel-freebsd"..."/usr/local/etc/php/php.core": not in executable 
format: File format not recognized

I tried doing a "strings -a" to peek around, but it doesn't tell you much.
