FreeBSD 6.2. Can I get 128x48 (or similar) console screens?

vidcontrol(1) -- it's part of the base system.

Should work fine. You may need to 'kldload vga' (see vga(4) and
syscons(4)) to get some of the higher res modes, or even build
yourself a customized kernel.
