quick question regarding /usr/obj

Yes.  The kernel you built was built in /usr/obj/usr/src/sys/ARMITAGE/, but
is installed into /boot/kernel/.

Once you have installed the world+kernel that you built you can safely
delete everything under /usr/obj/.
