Help with pkg_install

Hi all,

Problem:

OS:  FreeBSD 4.8

After running the latest ports_supfile I can no longer install new ports.
Here is the error message I receive when trying to install a new package /
port:

Stop in /usr/ports/sysutils/pkg_install.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  If you need further
information I can run make in debug mode and provide more output.
