If you have a closer look, it is using the ed (4):
ed1: <Xircom 10/100 Network PC Card> at port 0x100-0x10f iomem
Make sure you have the following devices compiled in your kernel:
device miibus
device ed
... also, you might need:
device pccard
device cardbus
