cd /usr/ports/print/ghostscript-gpl/ (for example)
make install clean

If it has Xorg dependencies, it will install them.

If you want Xorg installed, choose your window manager and install that.
Xorg will be installed as well.

For example:

cd /usr/ports/x11-wm/xfce4/
make install clean

Or if you want gnome,
cd /usr/ports/x11/gnome2/
make install clean

All the standard gnome stuff will be installed and everything you need from
xorg will be installed as well.

Ports are your friend.
