ssh password delay

Additional info.
I started sshd with -ddd. It is definitely hanging on the line:
"Trying to reverse map address 192.168.1.102."
Now, I'm not sure how to fix that. BTW, I do have VerifyReverseMapping
set to "NO" in sshd_config. But, that seems to be being ignored.
Any suggestions?
