Installed new kernel and then make buildworld and now no
internet?

You were right the first time. I was actually using a '0' instead of an 'O' in one of the options. This was enough to break it. I couldn't tell that it was a zero in my terminal, but when I looked at the file in single-user mode I could tell. Sorry about this one, it was purely my error.
