which firewire card for 5.4 ? Will adaptec fireconnect 8300 work ?

By the looks of it yes but I don't think the Firewire 800 will work.
Uses Texas Instruments TSB82AA2 (FW 400) & TSB81BA3 (FW 800) chipsets
