ip addr changes on 5.3 but not on 4.8

Marty,

The ed0, dc0 situation is because of the driver the NIC uses.  If you 
have two, or three, etc, cards that all use the same driver, then 
you'll start to see dc0, dc1, dc2, etc (provided they use the dc 
driver...
